Outlook Inn, Orcas Island Elopement // Lauren + Jason
Lauren and Jason traveled from Florida to Orcas Island in Washington and brought their closest friends and family with them to celebrate their marriage. After a year of delays due to the infamous COVID-19, Lauren and Jason were finally able to plan their Orcas Island elopement at the Outlook Inn.
Lauren and Jason flew in several days early to the Seattle Airport to relax and unwind on the island the days leading up to their wedding. On the day of their elopement, they got ready separately and met up together for couples portraits at Moran State Park. They made the short hike down to Cascade Falls to enjoy the sound of the falling water and to just enjoy their moment alone in nature before heading back to the Outlook Inn for their ceremony with their family and friends.
Their ceremony took place at Water’s Edge, where they had the most epic views of the sound and surrounding islands as they exchanged vows and played The Piano Guys from Jason’s phone. After their ceremony, everyone shuffled inside for an amazing waffle brunch curated by the New Leaf Cafe and cut their wedding cake with caramel macaroons by Sweet Craft Bake Shop.
Once everyone devoured their slice of cake, they headed back out to the beach and believe it or not, Lauren and Jason ran out into the sound in their wedding attire! All while laughing hysterically and making silly faces in the chilly water!
