Saguaro National Park Elopement // Kaylea + Tyler

Kaylea and Tyler recently moved to Phoenix from Chicago so that Tyler could continue his education in investigative journalism! (How cool, right?)

Kaylea and Tyler had a beautiful evening elopement in the desert at Saguaro National Park in all black wedding attire. Kaylea’s bouquet by Daisyhead Floral Co. was a stunning contrast against the desert and her black dress with the blue, purple, pink, and white bouquet.

I met Kaylea and Tyler in the parking lot after they got ready together at their apartment in Phoenix. They drove down to Saguaro National Park with Kaylea’s dress, which was from Forever 21, to change into at the park. Once Kaylea changed into her dress and slipped on her Birkenstocks, we headed out down the trail in the park where we took a few early evening portraits before heading a little farther down the trail to find the perfect spot for them to exchange vows beside a giant saguaro cactus. Kaylea and Tyler read their heart-felt vows that they had hand-written to one another earlier in the week leading up to their elopement.

After their vows, Kaylea sang their first dance song to Tyler and they swayed together in the middle of the desert as the sun continued to set behind the mountains. As the evening continued on, we worked our way back up the trail and took some more portraits along the way before Kaylea and Tyler headed back to their apartment to share dinner together.
