The definition of elopement has evolved SO much over the last decade. To elope used to be thought of as a secretive act where the couple would run away together at a moments whim.
While this may have been the case in the 90’s, elopements are defined differently today. In today’s modern definition, an elopement is a way for a couple to have a more personal, intimate, and meaningful approach to their wedding day with up to 15 of their closest family members and friends.
