Lipan Point, Grand Canyon Engagement Session // Casey + Shea
Casey & Shea met in Tennessee back in 2018. Not even two months into their relationship Casey needed to move to Utah for his job. They did long distance for a while before Shea was able to join him out west. Shea and Casey travel frequently for their jobs and ended up in Arizona near the Grand Canyon working for a resort for the summer. While they were living in Arizona, they knew that they absolutely had to have their engagement photos taken at the Grand Canyon before they had their ceremony in Idaho only two months after their scheduled engagement session.
Casey went the weekend before their engagement session to check out some of the vistas that I recommended and found Lipan Point to be their absolute favorite of them all. Casey and Shea wore one casual look for their session featuring killer black overalls worn by Shea and matching converse. Casey wore a green long-sleeve button up with khaki pants.
We all adventured around Lipan Point as the sun went down. The sunset at the Grand Canyon that evening was far from disappointing. Sun rays beamed through the clouds with beautiful Burts of purples, pinks, and blues. If you’ve never seen the Grand Canyon at sunset, it should be a must see on your Arizona to-do list. The canyon becomes hazy and the colors of the sky reflect throughout. It’s a remarkable sight!
