Outlook Inn Intimate Wedding // Orcas Island, WA // Emma + Charlie

Emma + Charlie’s wedding on Saturday, July 17, 2021 was nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute honor to be a part of Emma + Charlie's big day.

Emma + Charlie traveled from Illinois to Orcas Island in Washington for a destination wedding. They celebrated with close friends and family who also traveled from all over!

During the reception, Emma's sister shared the story as to why they chose Orcas Island as their wedding location.

When Emma and Charlie met, Charlie had this grand trip all planned out to journey across the United States just to see what it had to offer and enjoy the beauty that our country has to share with us. He was ready to take off for his trip and possibly not move back to Illinois as he had felt that he'd outgrown his surroundings and was searching for more. As his love for Emma grew and grew, he continued to delay his trip to spend more time with her. In his own words, he quickly became enchanted by her. He finally departed for his trip to venture the United States and he and Emma agreed that she would meet him at some point in his trip. Where did she meet him you might ask? Well, the one and only Orcas Island. They both fell quickly for its beauty. The island is full of luscious green mountains and is easy to forget that you're still in the states. So, they couldn't deny that their hearts lied here in Washington when it came time to choose their venue and the whole day was full of love, laughter, and admiration for the beauty that surrounded us.

Emma, Charlie, their family, and friends put together such a beautiful and intimate wedding at the Outlook Inn on Orcas Island. There were so many details worth capturing! From Emma’s insanely gorgeous wildflower bouquet, her bridal crown, and her A line ankle length wedding dress! All of her details were perfect! The bridesmaids all wore mismatched, earth-toned dresses and the groomsmen wore suits in shades of blue and grey. Their ceremony was set in a stunning little garden in the back of the Outlook Inn full of flowers and featuring a little wooden church full of so much charm! The reception was summer themed with lemon and floral decor. Emma and Charlie even put together some really fun games for their guests at their tables to keep them entertained during cocktail hour.

It was such a perfect day and an absolute pleasure to be a part of such an intimate and special day.

On that note, here's to Charlie + Emma! Congrats guys!
